What is Ragging?

Ragging is a form of bullying or hazing. It includes the humiliation, harassment or abuse by senior students to their juniors or the new students by showing dominance and superiority. Ragging can take multiple forms, such as forcing them to involve in dangerous or illegal activities, perform embarrassing tasks to verbal or physical abuse.

What Constitutes Ragging?

• Verbal Abuse: Use of offensive language, insults to humiliate.
• Physical Harassment: Any form of physical harm or injury.
• Psychological Intimidation: Mental stress or fear through threats.
• Forced Activities: Embarrassing acts against will.
