Abu Road, Oct 17, 2024 – A 7-day Cub Master/Flock Leader course, organized by Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Rajasthan State District Headquarters, Sirohi, is being held at Madhav University from October 14th to 20th. The primary objective of this training program is to prepare young individuals for national service, social service, discipline, and facing challenges in student life.
On the third day of the course, Wednesday, University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the program by hoisting the flag. Manish Serawat, Assistant State Organizing Commissioner, Jodhpur, explained that trainees are being taught important skills such as different types of knots, first aid, flag etiquette, compass, and mapping.
The presence of various dignitaries has made the camp even more significant. D.O. Scout Abhishek Verma from Sirohi, District In-charge Narendra Kumar Hans from Chittorgarh, District Trainer Khushbu, Rover Akshay, Quarter Master Sanjay Verma, University Deputy Registrar Dungar Singh, Examination Controller Dr. Mukesh Kumar Mahawar, Physical Education Professor Dr. Vishnu Choudhary, Law Department Professor Dr. Sandeep Gehlot, Ashok Kumar Prajapat, Abhishek Meena, and other teachers boosted the morale of the students with their presence.
This camp is playing an important role in the all-around development of the students and raising their awareness towards social service.
