Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 7, 2024 – Vikram Suthar, Assistant Professor in the Engineering and Technology Faculty at Madhav University, has been granted a patent by the Indian Patent Office for his invention, the “Bridge Health and Vibration Monitoring Device.” This device allows for real-time assessment of a bridge’s capacity, enabling early detection of potential problems and timely repairs. This technology enhances the safety and longevity of bridge infrastructure, ensuring the reliability of critical transportation networks.
Suthar explained that the device offers a practical solution for infrastructure maintenance and expressed his intention to file for another patent soon. He acknowledged the support of the university administration in achieving this milestone.
