Madhav University Students Participated in Tree Plantation Drive at Kasindra Village

Kasindra, Rajasthan, India – September 8, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized a tree plantation program at a farmhouse near Kasindra village. University professors and NSS volunteers planted approximately 200 trees of various species, including mango, neem, peepal, banyan, and amla. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness about the importance of planting trees.

NSS Nodal Officer Dr. Devendra Mujalda emphasized the need for environmental protection through tree planting to combat global warming. Sangeeta Singh, Coordinator of NSS Unit 1, motivated the volunteers to not only plant trees but also ensure their care and protection. Dr. Renuka, Coordinator of NSS Unit 2, encouraged the volunteers to plant more trees and actively contribute to environmental conservation. The tree plantation drive saw enthusiastic participation from university students and faculty, highlighting the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement. The event served as a practical step towards creating a greener environment and promoting ecological balance.
