Sirohi, Sept 12, 2024 Former RPS officer Himmat Singh Deval assumed charge as Chancellor of Madhav University. On this occasion, Madhav University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar congratulated and wished Chancellor Himmat Singh Deval well. Chancellor Himmat Singh Deval is a top performer in the 1985 batch. During his service in the Rajasthan Police, he served in several districts including Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jhalawar and Sirohi. He retired on August 31, 2022 from the post of Senior Additional Superintendent of Police in Udaipur. After this, he served as Senior Advisor in Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Company. In a conversation with reporters, he said that achieving new heights in the field of education is his aim and he will work in the university with this in mind. The Sirohi district is a tribal-dominated area and it will be their and Madhav University’s aim to spread the light of education to every household in this area, for which a campaign will be launched by the university, in which children deprived of education will be connected with education and they will be made aware of education. Apart from this, new courses will also be started by the university regarding higher education, so that the students do not have to wander. He said that Madhav University has been continuously working in the field of social service under the guidance of Chairman Dr. Rajkumar, in this area of social service, new dimensions will be established and every possible facility will be provided to the needy by Madhav University. On the occasion of assuming the charge, University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat and Research Dean Dr. Pawan Kumar were present.
