Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 13, 2024 – Students from Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized a tree plantation drive in Wada village near Abu Road on September 13, 2024. The initiative, led by NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujalda and coordinators Sangeeta Singh and Dr. Renuka, saw enthusiastic participation from university volunteers and faculty members.
The drive focused on planting a variety of indigenous trees, including Peepal, Banyan, Mango, Neem, and Amla. Dr. Mujalda emphasized the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation and encouraged everyone to plant and care for trees to combat global warming. Sangeeta Singh, NSS Unit I coordinator, motivated the volunteers to raise awareness about the benefits of tree planting. Dr. Renuka, NSS Unit II coordinator, guided the volunteers on the proper techniques for planting and nurturing the saplings.
