Mount Abu, Rajasthan – September 20, 2024 – Madhav University’s Department of Physiotherapy, under the guidance of University Chairperson Dr. Rajkumar, recently organized a free physiotherapy camp at the Mount Abu State Hospital. The camp provided free treatment to over 200 patients, addressing various musculoskeletal and bone-related health issues.
A team of expert physiotherapists, led by Dr. Arunachalam, Head of the Physiotherapy Department, not only provided treatment but also educated patients about maintaining physical health. A unique aspect of the camp was the provision of health guidance to tourists at Guru Shikhar, the highest peak in Rajasthan. This initiative aimed to help tourists cope with potential health problems arising from long journeys and high altitudes.
The camp was attended by Dr. Anil Yogi, Head of the Department of Natural Medicine, along with physiotherapists Dr. Vaibhav Dave, Dr. Hemant Kumar, Dr. Prachi Ojha, Dr. Aditi Bhardwaj, and Dr. Aparajita Chauhan, as well as students from the university.
This initiative by Madhav University is seen as a significant step towards making healthcare services accessible to the general public. The university’s commitment to community health and well-being was evident in the camp’s success and the positive impact it had on the local community and tourists alike.
