Madhav University Organizes Tree Plantation Drive in Vada Village

Abu Road, Rajasthan – September 24, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized a tree plantation drive in Vada village under the Hariyalo Rajasthan Abhiyan. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and encourage community participation in preserving the environment.

NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujhalda addressed the villagers, emphasizing the importance of planting more trees to maintain a clean and balanced environment. He urged everyone to take responsibility for nurturing the planted saplings until they grow into trees.

Sangeeta Singh, the in-charge of the first unit, stated that it is everyone’s duty to prioritize tree plantation to maintain greenery around their surroundings. She stressed that it is important not only for the environment but also for our health.

Dr. Renuka, the in-charge of the second unit, motivated the villagers and said that the plants we are planting today should be nurtured until they become trees. She added that a clean environment is essential for a healthy and happy life.

NSS volunteers Ganpat, Valaram, Jyoti, Vikram, and others actively participated in the program, contributing to its success. At the end of the event, everyone pledged to take care of the plants and nurture them into green trees, ensuring the continuation of this noble cause of environmental protection.
