Sirohi, September 5, 2024 – Madhav University will be organizing the Navdurga idol consecration festival (Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav) at Shri Kameshwar Dham in Kasindra village from October 10th to 12th. This three-day religious and cultural program is being organized under the auspices of the university.
The Chairperson of the University, Himmat Singh Deval, said that the festival will begin on October 10th, in which many dignitaries and devotees will participate. On October 11th, a grand procession will be taken out at 9 am, in which the university staff, students, and a large number of devotees will participate. The procession will feature specially adorned idols of deities and will be made even more attractive with traditional music and dance. The Pran Pratishtha of the Navdurga idol will be held on October 12th, after which Mahaprasadi will be organized.
There is great enthusiasm among the local people regarding this event and the Madhav administration has also finalized the preparations. University Registrar, Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, said that this festival is a unique endeavor to strengthen religious faith and social unity, in which devotees from Kasindra village as well as surrounding areas will participate in large numbers.
