Madhav University’s Historic Alumni Meet and Fresher’s Party Held

Abu Road, Oct 11, 2024 – Madhav University witnessed a unique blend of education, inspiration, and cultural richness during its Alumni Meet and Fresher’s Party held on Thursday. The event bridged a special connection between the university’s current students and its alumni. A key highlight was the announcement of interest-free loans of up to Rs. 10 lakh for university graduates, an unprecedented initiative to empower them towards self-reliance.

Dr. Rajkumar Rana, Chairman of the University, presided over the function, while President Dr. Rajiv Mathur was present as the chief guest. Former students shared their experiences, inspiring the new students and providing in-depth guidance on various aspects of careers and entrepreneurship. During the Alumni Meet, former students highlighted the university’s role in their careers, explaining how the education and opportunities they received at Madhav University helped them reach the pinnacle of success.

Dr. Rajkumar Rana, in his address, reiterated Madhav University’s commitment to making its students self-reliant. He announced that students who wish to start their own businesses or seek new employment opportunities will be provided with interest-free loans ranging from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. He emphasized that this initiative is a major boost for students and an important step towards self-reliance. He also mentioned the contributions of the alumni, including the donation of an ambulance last year and music systems and coolers this year, demonstrating their dedication and contribution to their university.

The Fresher’s Party featured renowned actress Kajal Vashisht. The event included cultural presentations and dramatic performances by the university students. The freshers and seniors interacted and engaged in conversations. University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat shared words of wisdom with the students, encouraging them to face the challenges ahead and never give up. He highlighted that every challenge opens the door to a new opportunity, and students should face them with courage and confidence.

The event also saw performances in solo dance, group dance, solo singing, and the selection of Mr. Fresher, Mr. Handsome, Best Walk, Miss Fresher, Miss Beauty, and Miss Runner-up. Dr. Manoj Kumar Behra, Mustakim Qureshi, Kewal Banaudha, and Dev Chauhan served as judges.

Many university officials, including Pro. Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Kumar Gautam, Research Dean Dr. Pawan Kumar, Examination Controller Dr. Mukesh Mahawar, and others were present at the event. The university staff, heads of departments, and students considered the event highly successful.
