Abu Road, OCT 30, 2024 – National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from Madhav University organized a health awareness rally in the Taleti area under the “This Diwali, My India” initiative. The rally, conducted in collaboration with the Regional Health Center, Abu Road, aimed to raise public awareness about health-related issues and promote healthy lifestyles.
The event saw active participation from Dr. Manoj Kumar Behera and Dr. Nipun from the health department, along with Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, Program Director of the National Service Scheme, Dr. Mahendra Singh, Academic Dean, and Sangita Singh and Dr. Renuka, in-charges of NSS Units I and II respectively. Faculty members including Chaudhary Vishal, Dr. Suresh Trivedi, and G.S. Chauhan also joined the rally, along with enthusiastic students like Arjun, Hitesh, Phularam, Kailash, Kamlesh, Jaswant, and Ashok.
The rally focused on educating people about various health issues and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle practices. Participants carried banners and chanted slogans emphasizing the importance of health and well-being. The volunteers spread awareness about various health-related topics and encouraged people to celebrate a Diwali that is committed to the environment and health. The event aimed to make a positive impact on the community’s health awareness and promote a healthier lifestyle during the festive season. The university’s initiative reflects its commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
