Abu Road, Rajasthan – November 23, 2024 – Madhav University’s Department of Physical Education successfully concluded a two-day national workshop focused on research methods and statistics. The workshop, which began on Friday, aimed to train researchers and students in the latest research techniques and the practical application of statistics.
The event was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Professor Ramesh Chandra Kothari, former Vice Chancellor of VNS University, Surat, with Himmat Singh Deval, Chancellor of Madhav University, as the chief guest. Distinguished academicians and experts from across the country shared their insights, including Professor Satish Prakash Shukla from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Professor Jaynajoshi from IIT Gandhinagar, and Professor Jignesh B. Patel from Children’s University, Gandhinagar.
Chancellor Himmat Singh Deval emphasized that the workshop would assist participants in making their research more effective and creative by providing knowledge of fundamental research principles and the use of statistical tools. Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat also shared his views on the importance of such initiatives in promoting quality and innovation in education.
The academic dean, Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar, welcomed the participants and led the proceedings. The workshop was organized with significant contributions from the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Vishnu Choudhary, Dr. Bharat Choudhary, Dr. Awadhesh Adha Peshwa, and other faculty members. Dr. Chintan Patel and Dharti Sawani conducted the stage program. Participants benefited from lectures and hands-on practical sessions, gaining in-depth knowledge of research and statistics. The workshop concluded on Saturday with certificates distributed to the participants, marking a significant learning opportunity for students and researchers.
