Madhav University to Organize Special Awareness Campaign on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Abu Road – Madhav University’s Special Education Department held a special meeting today to discuss preparations for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd. The meeting, chaired by Department Head Dr. Raj Singh Sahrawat, focused on raising societal awareness and empowering the rights of persons with disabilities. The department resolved to dedicate this year’s program to bringing about positive change in the lives of disabled individuals.

Several activities are proposed for the December 3rd event, including cultural presentations, expert talks, creative workshops, and disability assistance camps. The university aims to ensure participation from disabled students and individuals from various segments of society. Medical consultations and necessary equipment will be provided to persons with disabilities. A rally will also be organized with the participation of students and teachers. Individuals who have made inspiring contributions in the field of disability will be honored during the program.  

Dr. Sahrawat stated, “Our goal is to create an inclusive society where persons with disabilities receive their rights and respect. Through this day, we will not only highlight their challenges but also celebrate their abilities.” University officials, department members, and student representatives participated in the meeting, expressing their commitment to making the event successful. Madhav University has appealed to society to encourage disabled individuals and take steps to understand their problems. The university believes this event will not only provide a platform for their abilities but also inspire positive change in society. Dr. Avnish Kumar Mishra, Naveen Kumar, Pradeep, Pawan Kumar, Krishna Veer, and Vishnu Kumar from the Special Education Department were present in the meeting.
