Madhav University has announced a significant initiative to strengthen ties between India and Africa: the “500 Plus Indian-African Scholarship Award.” This program aims to promote educational and cultural exchange, and foster social justice and global harmony.
The program is being developed under the guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Seth, Education Director of the Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGN). This follows the recent announcement by AASGN in New Delhi of the “10,000 Plus India-Africa Scholarship” initiative.
The scholarship will provide opportunities for talented, but economically disadvantaged, young people from the 55 member nations of the African Union to pursue higher education in India. The program seeks to empower these individuals and contribute to the development of their home countries.
University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar and other key figures, including Vice Chancellor Himmat Singh Deval, President Dr. Rajiv Mathur, and Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, expressed their support for the program.
