
Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) organized an inspiring lecture on Panchayati Raj Day. The program aimed to educate students about the significance of the Panchayat system, its structure, and its role in modern India.
The keynote speaker, NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, provided a detailed explanation of the purpose and historical background of Panchayati Raj Day. He emphasized that Panchayats not only strengthen the roots of democracy but also form the backbone of rural development.
Sangeeta Singh, in charge of NSS Unit 1, elaborated on this year’s theme, “Developed Nation will be built only from empowered Panchayats.” She stressed the need for the youth to understand and participate in the Panchayat system to ensure development reaches every village.
Dr. Renuka, in charge of NSS Unit 2, concluded the program by extending her best wishes for Panchayati Raj Day and expressing gratitude to the guests and students.
Senior faculty members, including Dr. Amritlal Jinger, Dr. Priyanka Singh, Dr. Moharram Ansari, and Dr. Vineesh Khan, along with a large number of students, were present at the event.
