Madhav University Organizes Cleanliness Drive as Part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Abu Road, Rajasthan, May 7, 2024 – Madhav University organized a cleanliness drive as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative was coordinated by Dr. Devendra Mujalda, Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan program.

Volunteers actively participated in the drive, cleaning public areas around Bhujela. Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, University Registrar, emphasized the importance of adopting cleanliness as a way of life. Dr. Sushil Bhargav, Head of the Pharmacy Department, highlighted the significance of cleanliness as a fundamental principle of service. Dr. Gurucharan, Head of the Agriculture Department, motivated volunteers to embrace the motto “My waste, my responsibility.”

NSS Program Officer Sangita Singh provided insights into new dimensions of waste management and recycling. The drive saw active participation from volunteers like Samir, Rohit, Kumar, Manish, Bhawani, Tushar, Dharmesh, Himanshu, and Amritlal, among others.
