Abu Road, May 31, 2024 – The All India Inter-Zonal University Women’s American Football Championship, hosted by Madhav University, concluded successfully. The tournament, which took place from May 27th to 30th, saw participation from 12 women’s teams from across the country.
Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, emerged as the champion, demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship. They were followed by Poornima University, Jaipur, in second place, and Bangalore University, Bengaluru, in third place.
The closing ceremony was attended by Suresh Kumar Kumawat, Education Block Officer, Pindwara, Madhav University Chairman Prof. Rajkumar Rana, Chairperson Prof. S.N. Sharma, President Dr. Rajeev Mathur, Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, and several other dignitaries.
Suresh Kumar Kumawat emphasized the importance of promoting sports and congratulated all the participating teams. Dr. Rajeev Mathur, President of Madhav University, announced plans for organizing more such sports events in the future. Dr. Bharat Choudhary, Tournament Secretary, expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers for their contributions to the success of the championship.
The event was a resounding success, showcasing the talent and dedication of women athletes from across the country.
