Abu Road, June 13, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized an awareness program on “Ujjwal Bhavishya – Aaj Baal Shram Ka Ant” (A Bright Future – End Child Labour Today) to commemorate World Day Against Child Labour. The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of child labor and promote children’s rights.
NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujalda emphasized the importance of eradicating child labor and ensuring a bright future for all children. He urged students to actively participate in campaigns against child labor and encourage others to do the same. NSS Coordinator Sangeeta Singh highlighted the negative impact of child labor on children’s physical, mental, and emotional development.
Dr. Renuka, another NSS coordinator, spoke about the harmful effects of child labor on children’s physical and mental health. Dr. Dushyant encouraged students to actively participate in awareness programs and campaigns against child labor. Dr. Jai Deep administered an oath to the students, urging them to stand against child labor and spread awareness about its harmful effects.
The event saw active participation from students, including Rohit Kumar, Manish, Bhavani, Tushar, Dharmish, Himanshu, Amritlal, Sapna Kumari, Aarti, Rinku Kumari, Uttam Singh, Rahul Prajapati, Ravi Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Nikhil Rawal, Rohit, Diya, and Tulsi.
