Abu Road, July 6, 2024 – Madhav Agriculture College, part of Madhav University, is currently observing its annual Forest Festival Week. The week-long event, which commenced on July 1st, aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and encourage active participation in tree plantation drives.
On the inaugural day of the festival, over 50 saplings were planted by students and faculty members. The event was officially inaugurated by Dr. Rajiv Mathur, the Vice-Chancellor of Madhav University, who emphasized the significance of tree plantation in mitigating climate change and promoting a sustainable environment.
The Forest Festival Week will feature a range of activities, including workshops on environmental issues, nature walks, and interactive sessions with forestry experts. The college administration, led by Dr. V.R. Patel, Dean of the Agriculture College, and Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Secretary of the University, is actively involved in organizing and overseeing the festivities.
The event has garnered enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, with a strong emphasis on hands-on engagement in environmental conservation efforts.
