Abu Road, Rajasthan, August 3, 2024 – Madhav University, through its Madhav Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, organized a free medical camp in Morathala village. Over 50 patients received free treatment and medication at the camp. Doctors and staff from the hospital traveled to the village to provide healthcare services.
The camp addressed a range of common ailments, including colds, coughs, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, joint pain, anemia, gynecological issues, sciatica, kidney stones, mouth ulcers, diabetes, blood pressure, and piles. Free blood pressure and sugar tests were also conducted. Professor Manoj Kumar Behra, Dean of the Homeopathic Department, stated that the university has been organizing such camps in villages for several years, providing free check-ups and medicines to thousands of patients. He added that patients with serious illnesses are also admitted to the hospital for free treatment.
The university also provides free transportation for patients to and from the hospital. Dr. Pratiksha Singh and intern doctors Prashant Choudhary, Harsh Rajpurohit, and Aditi Rao played a key role in organizing and running the camp. The university has reportedly treated over fifty thousand patients through these free medical camps over the years. The initiative highlights Madhav University’s commitment to serving the community through both education and healthcare.
