Abu Road (Sirohi), August 9, 2024 – Madhav University organized a tree plantation drive in Bhujela village under its “A Tree in Mother’s Name” and “Green Rajasthan” initiatives. The event was conducted by the university’s National Service Scheme (NSS) units I and II.
During the campaign, 100 trees were planted in Bhujela village. NSS nodal officer Dr. Devendra Mujalda encouraged volunteers to plant more trees for environmental conservation. NSS in-charge Sangita Singh led the volunteers in a pledge to plant at least one tree in their mother’s name. She emphasized the importance of trees in combating pollution. NSS unit II in-charge Dr. Renuka highlighted the significance of planting trees in one’s mother’s name for environmental protection, noting the crucial role trees play in mitigating pollution.
Students including Jyotika, Vikram, Mahendra Barala, Jitendra Kalbi, Aditya, Ashish Choudhary, Vikas Mandia, and Davar actively participated in the tree plantation program. The campaign highlights Madhav University’s commitment to environmental awareness and action through community engagement. The “A Tree in Mother’s Name” initiative aims to connect personal sentiment with environmental responsibility, encouraging individuals to contribute to a greener future.
