Madhav University Holds Orientation Program for New Engineering Students

Abu Road, Rajasthan, August 11, 2024 – Madhav University’s engineering department organized a two-day orientation program for newly admitted students. The program, held on August 10th and 11th, aimed to familiarize students with the university and the engineering field.

Dr. V. Narsimhan, Dean of the Engineering Department, and S. Mahalakshmi, Head of the Computer Science Engineering Department, presided over the event. The program began with the lighting of a lamp and a prayer to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Narsimhan provided information about the various courses offered at Madhav University, noting the diverse student body from across the country. She extended best wishes to the new students for the academic year.

S. Mahalakshmi presented on the National Education Policy. Assistant Professor Sangita Singh explained the importance of the National Service Scheme (NSS) for personality development. Dr. Ruchi Thakar, another assistant professor, emphasized the role of communication skills in building confidence. Diya Rao and Sameer hosted the program. Many students, including Kishore, Bhavesh, Tulsi, Bhaumik, Radhika, and Devendra, participated in the orientation. The program aimed to provide a smooth transition for new students into university life and the engineering discipline. The news was published in Rajasthan Darshan.
