Cleanliness Fortnight Concludes at Madhav University

Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 19, 2024 – The Cleanliness Fortnight – Clean Village, Healthy Village program organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Madhav University concluded successfully. During the program, the university conducted cleanliness drives in the five adopted villages and organized tree plantation programs in the surrounding areas.

The university’s Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. B.K. Gautam, emphasized the importance of social duties and responsibilities to the volunteers, urging them to become responsible citizens. Academic Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar, encouraged the volunteers to serve their communities and inspire others. NSS Director, Dr. Devendra Mujalda, stressed the importance of awareness and encouraged the volunteers to spread awareness about cleanliness. Dr. Ravindra Kurup, Head of the English Department, inspired the volunteers to maintain a spirit of service and raise awareness about cleanliness.

The program was organized under the National Service Scheme, which works for the personality development and social service of youth. The event saw active participation from students and faculty members, highlighting the university’s commitment to social responsibility and community development. The initiative aimed to create a cleaner and healthier environment in the adopted villages and promote awareness about hygiene and sanitation. The university plans to continue such initiatives in the future to contribute to the betterment of society.
