Dr. Asha Rana Honored with Prestigious Award in Nematology

Sirohi, Oct 8, 2024 – Dr. Asha Rana, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences at Madhav University and a renowned nematologist, has been awarded by the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal Yuva Ayaam for her outstanding research paper on Environmental Protection and Prosperous India. This award recognizes her unique research work in the field of insect control through entomopathogenic nematodes (Heterorhabditis indica).

Dr. Rana’s research presents a sustainable solution in agriculture by utilizing natural resources to replace pesticides. Her work focuses on identifying and using beneficial pathogens like entomopathogenic nematodes to control insects. This has led to significant success in environmentally friendly agriculture, which will help reduce the burden of pesticides and prevent environmental pollution. Her research papers have been recognized in top-tier scientific journals, and she has received several awards.

Dr. Asha Rana will soon present her research paper at the National Conference Vision for Developed India (Vividha 2024) to be held at SGT University, Gurugram. Her research is considered inspirational and important for a sustainable future for environmentally friendly agriculture.
