Abu Road, June 4, 2024 – Madhav Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital conducted a disaster management training session for its staff. The training was led by Akil Manakozhia, who provided valuable insights into disaster preparedness and response.
The training focused on both natural and man-made disasters, including earthquakes, cyclones, industrial accidents, and terrorist attacks. Participants learned about the potential impact of such events and were instructed on how to stay safe and take necessary precautions.
Mr. Manakozhia emphasized the importance of understanding the warning signs and taking appropriate actions to minimize risks. He also highlighted the role of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in rescue and relief operations.
The training was attended by Dr. Manoj Kumar Behera, Dean and Principal of the college, along with faculty members, medical officers, nurses, and other staff. This initiative underscores the college’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its staff and community.
