Madhav University Celebrates Grand Ganesh Visarjan

Abu Road, Rajasthan – September 18, 2024 – Madhav University recently concluded its 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with a grand visarjan ceremony. The university campus was filled with enthusiasm as students and faculty members participated in various cultural and religious events throughout the festival.

The visarjan procession, held on Tuesday, was a spectacle of its own. Students, dressed in traditional attire, danced to the beats of dhols and cheered for Ganpati Bappa. The procession culminated at the Banas River, where the idol was ceremoniously immersed.

The university officials, including Chairman Prof. Raj Kumar, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Kumar Gautam, President Dr. Rajiv Mathur, and Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, actively participated in the celebrations. They expressed their gratitude to Lord Ganesha for bestowing his blessings upon the university and its students.

The students also played a vital role in organizing and executing the visarjan ceremony. They decorated the procession route, arranged for the music and dance performances, and ensured the smooth conduct of the event.

The visarjan ceremony at Madhav University was a testament to the university’s commitment to preserving and promoting Indian culture and traditions. The event not only provided an opportunity for students and faculty to come together and celebrate their faith but also fostered a sense of community and belonging.
