Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 15, 2024 – Maadhav University recently concluded its Hindi Pakhwada (Hindi Fortnight) with a grand celebration of Hindi Diwas (Hindi Day). The event, held on [Insert Date], was marked by a series of cultural programs and competitions aimed at promoting the use and appreciation of the Hindi language.
The festivities commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony led by Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vijendra Kumar. In his address, Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of using Hindi in daily life and enhancing its prestige both nationally and internationally. Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar, Dean of Academic Affairs, highlighted the significance of Hindi Pakhwada and Hindi Diwas, urging attendees to contribute to elevating Hindi’s status globally.
Dr. Satyaprakash Tiwari shed light on the history of Hindi as the official language of India and the annual celebration of Hindi Diwas since 1953. Students from the B.Ed. second year showcased their talents through captivating poetry recitations, songs, speeches, dances, and dramas.
The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony where Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vijendra Kumar Gautam and Dean Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar presented certificates to the winners of various competitions held during the Hindi Pakhwada.
Dr. Deepak Pancholi, a senior professor in the Faculty of Education, delivered the vote of thanks and declared the closing of the event. The program was attended by esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, Director of NSS, Dr. Ruchi Thakkar, Dr. Renuka Singh Gurjar, Dr. Kurup Sharma, and Mr. Mahendra Singh Gurjar, Head of the Admissions Department, along with other staff members. The event was skillfully compered by Govind Kumar Parmar.
