
Sirohi, Rajasthan, India – March 08, 2025 – Madhav University, in collaboration with its Law Department, NSS unit, and Taluk Legal Services Committee Pindwara, celebrated International Women’s Day with a program focused on women’s empowerment. The event featured discussions on women’s legal rights, empowerment, and their status in society.
Chief guests Dr. Vidya Shaktawat, Dr. Khushboo, Dr. Bhavna, and NSS in-charge Sangita Singh emphasized the importance of education and economic independence for strengthening women’s position in society. Dr. Mamta Ben and Dr. Asha Rana highlighted relevant legal provisions for women.
A debate competition, organized with the support of the State Legal Services Authority Sirohi, saw students discussing topics like women’s education and economic freedom. Students actively participated, with Mukesh Kumar, Vikram Goyal, Monika Rawal, Mahendra, and Sahil sharing their views on various women-related issues.
The program was led by NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, Dr. Sandeep Gehlot, Dr. Meenu Dayma, and Surendra Singh. Dr. Japeshwari coordinated the event, and Dr. Renuka Gurjar gave the vote of thanks. University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar extended International Women’s Day greetings to all women.
