Abu Road, August 21, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized a Sadbhavana Diwas (Harmony Day) program on campus. The event aimed to promote communal harmony and understanding among people of all faiths. University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rajiv Mathur presided over the function, with Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat as the chief guest.
Professor Mathur shared the significance of Sadbhavana Diwas, emphasizing that it is celebrated by people of all religions across India. He highlighted the importance of fostering unity and goodwill among diverse communities. Dr. Kumawat explained that the primary objective of observing this day is to encourage national integration and social harmony among individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujalda stated that the program was organized to promote communal harmony among people of all faiths. Sangeeta Singh, the in-charge of NSS Unit I, spoke about the contributions of Rajiv Gandhi’s administration to education and technology. The event served as a platform to reinforce the values of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect, core principles of Sadbhavana Diwas. The university community came together to celebrate this occasion, reaffirming their commitment to building a harmonious society.
