Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 6, 2024 – Madhav University observed Teacher’s Day with various events held across different departments to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The Pharmacy Department, led by Dean Dr. Sushil Bhargava, highlighted Dr. Radhakrishnan’s contributions to education and philosophy. Dr. Bhargava emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping students’ lives. Abhinav, a student, spoke on the significance of education, while students Goyal, Vishal, Bhavik, Sharma, Farid, Sushma, Shyam Bihari, Dr. Anjali, Dr. Akshat, Mansi, Ajay, Jitendra, Irfan, Amisha, Shahin, and Vikram were present. Govind Parmar spoke about the importance of Teacher’s Day and administered a pledge to the teachers. Lalit Kumar, Nikhil, and Vinita conducted the program.
The Faculty of Education also celebrated the occasion, beginning with a lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. Deepak Pancholi. Dr. Pancholi encouraged teachers to be role models and contribute to nation-building. Dr. Satya Prakash Tiwari described teachers as nation builders, and Drs. Akhilesh, Rajni, and Sujan Patel also spoke. The Science Faculty organized its own celebration with Dr. Jigar Soni, Dr. Kheem Singh Dahiya, Dr. Mamta Soni, Dr. Arun Kulshrestha, and Dr. Rohitas participating. They shared their perspectives on the teaching profession, while Drs. Farman Ali, Afsar Ali, Bhavin Soni, Asha Rana, and Shahzad Ali were also present. The university-wide celebrations underscored the importance of teachers in society and recognized their invaluable contributions to education.
