Abu Road, Rajasthan, August 13, 2024 – Madhav University’s Engineering Department concluded its two-day orientation program for new engineering students on August 13th. The program, aimed at welcoming and preparing students for their academic journey, provided insights into the university’s courses and the importance of education.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr. V. Narsimhan, Dean of the Engineering Department, and S. Mahalakshmi, Head of the Computer Science Engineering Department. Dr. Narsimhan emphasized the significance of education in shaping a better future, urging students to face challenges with courage. She highlighted the diverse student body at Madhav University and wished the new cohort success in their studies.
S. Mahalakshmi spoke about the transformative power of combining education and technology, stressing the importance of computers in modern life. Assistant Professor Sangita Singh elaborated on the benefits of the National Service Scheme (NSS) for personality development, while Assistant Professor Dr. Ruchi Thakar shared tips on building confidence through effective communication skills.
The program, which included introductions to various courses and discussions on the value of education, was hosted by Diya Rao and Sameer. Students, including Kishore, Bhavesh, Tulsi, Bhaumik, Radhika, and Devendra, actively participated in the orientation.
