
Abu Road, August 15, 2024 – Madhav University’s Engineering and Technology Department organized an anti-ragging awareness program during Anti-Ragging Week. Dr. V. Narsimhan, Dean of the Engineering Department, stated that the initiative aimed to raise awareness against ragging. A short film was screened for the students, and S. Mahalakshmi, Head of the Computer Science Engineering Department, gave a presentation on preventing ragging. The program emphasized the university’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.
Dr. Devendra Mujalda, NSS Director, provided information about the university’s anti-ragging committee and its rules. Sangeeta Singh, a member of the anti-ragging committee and assistant professor, discussed the regulations in place and the university’s anti-ragging laws. She informed students about the university’s helpline number and the process for filing complaints with the anti-ragging committee. Students openly discussed the issue and received solutions to their concerns. The university reiterated its commitment to maintaining a ragging-free environment.
