
Madhav University’s Special Education Department and Madhav Special School organized an awareness program for World Autism Awareness Day. The event aimed to promote understanding and awareness of autism spectrum disorder within the community.
The program commenced with an opening address by Special Education Department Head Ghanshyam Kushwaha, who discussed various aspects of autism, including its features, symptoms, causes, and effects. Dr. Manoj Behda, Dean of Homeopathy, spoke on inclusive education and the potential for holistic development in autistic children.
Academic Dean Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar provided detailed information on the prevention of autism and related interventions. He emphasized that early identification and timely intervention can significantly reduce the impact of autism.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where experts addressed queries from students and teachers, helping to dispel misconceptions about autism. Assistant Professors Dr. Avanish Mishra, Mayank Awasthi, Pathan Toufiq, Naveen Kumar, Shrey Khatak, Kumari Mamta, Ajay Kashyap, and teachers from the special school, along with computer officer Hitendra Singh Deora, were present.
