September 4, 2024 – Madhav University’s Engineering Department organized a two-day orientation program for newly admitted engineering students. The program aimed to familiarize students with the university’s academic offerings and facilities. Dr. V. Narasimhan, Dean of the Engineering Department, and S. Mahalakshmi, Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department, presided over the event. The program commenced with the lighting of a lamp and a floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati.
Dr. Narasimhan provided an overview of the various courses offered by the university. He highlighted that Madhav University hosts a diverse range of courses within a single campus, attracting students from across the country. He extended his best wishes to the new students for the academic year. S. Mahalakshmi presented on the National Education Policy, while Assistant Professor Sangeeta Singh emphasized the importance of the National Service Scheme for personality development. Assistant Professor Dr. Ruchi Thakkar spoke on the importance of communication skills in enhancing self-confidence. The orientation program proved beneficial for the new students as they embarked on their academic journey at Madhav University.
