Madhav University Holds Road Safety Awareness Program

Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences jointly organized a road safety awareness program. The event aimed to educate students and faculty on safe traffic practices.

NSS Director and Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Devendra Mujhalda provided detailed information about traffic signals, zebra crossings, speed limits, and other traffic rules. He also discussed relevant government road safety initiatives.

Academic Dean Dr. Mahendra Singh emphasized the importance of road safety and encouraged the use of helmets and seat belts. Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Rana Pratap Singh outlined the goals of the 2025 road safety campaign, focusing on instilling a sense of responsibility among young people.

Assistant Professor Dr. Moharram Ansari from the Economics Department also spoke about road safety rules. NSS Unit 1 in-charge Sangeeta Singh conducted the proceedings, and NSS Unit 2 in-charge Dr. Renuka concluded the event with a vote of thanks.

The program included a poster exhibition on road safety to further engage students visually.
