Madhav University Holds Workshop on Homeopathy and Nutrition

Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – (Local Publication Date: नवज्योति/सिरोही) – Madhav University’s College of Agriculture recently hosted a workshop during National Nutrition Week focused on the use of homeopathic medicines, minerals, vitamins, and nutritional supplements in human life. Professor Dr. Parul Singh from the Madhav Homeopathic College explained that homeopathic medicines have no side effects and are increasingly being used for proteins, vitamins, minerals, and supplements. She noted their efficacy in treating common ailments like colds, coughs, and fevers, and highlighted their significant role during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professor B.R. Patel, Dean of the College of Agriculture, discussed the growing use of homeopathy in India, emphasizing its benefits. He clarified that homeopathic medicines are not slow-acting and work similarly to allopathic medicines. Professor Geetam Singh added that homeopathy is now being used in animal husbandry, plants, and to improve soil fertility. Dr. Laxmikant Sharma explained how homeopathy can help avoid the side effects of other treatments. Dr. Hemali from the Homeopathy Department spoke about the increasing trend of using homeopathic medicines, while Dr. Samriddhi discussed their growing popularity. The workshop included Dr. Rajesh Panchal, Dr. Anand Baghel, Dr. Chirag Solanki, Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. Kailash Parihar, Dr. Shikhar Desai, Dr. Krishna Patel, Dr. Ruchita Kotdia, Dr. Abhilasha Rai, Dr. Suresh Kumar, and Shahrukh Khan.
