Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 11, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit organized various programs to promote environmental protection. A key event was a tree plantation drive held in Achpura village. NSS volunteers planted trees in the Achpura village panchayat samiti premises, contributing to environmental conservation and spreading awareness about its importance.
Dr. Devendra Mujalda, Director of the National Service Scheme, emphasized the significance of environmental protection and educated the villagers about environmental issues. He stressed the need for community involvement in conservation efforts.
Sangeeta Singh, in-charge of the NSS Unit I, stated that planting more trees is a crucial step towards environmental protection. Dr. Renuka, in-charge of Unit II, highlighted the importance of not just planting trees, but also nurturing and protecting them until they mature.
University volunteers Rishikesh, Vikram Goyal, Ganpat, Lata, Ravina, Janki, Karan, Milan, Seema, Gokulram, and local villagers participated in the program. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage community participation in conservation activities.
