Madhav University Organizes Essay Competition on Anti-Ragging

Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – Aug 30, 2024 – Madhav University’s माधव कॉलेज ऑफ एग्रीकल्चर (Madhav College of Agriculture) recently held an essay competition on the topic of anti-ragging. The event saw participation from 35 students and included a pre-competition workshop led by the college’s Dean, Dr. VR Patel.

Dr. Patel emphasized the importance of essay writing skills for students and encouraged them to regularly contribute articles on national and international issues to newspapers and magazines. He stressed that students should be well-versed in essay writing techniques. Dr. Geetam Singh, also present at the workshop, highlighted the benefits of essay writing in improving students’ writing skills, stating that it prepares them for higher-level competitions.

The competition was organized to raise awareness about the issue of ragging and to encourage students to express their views on this important social problem. Dr. Laxmikant Sharma, the program’s director, announced plans to expand the essay competition to include students from all departments within the university in future events. The event saw the presence of Dr. Rajesh Panchal, Dr. Anand Waghela, Dr. Chirag Solanki, Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. Prakash, Dr. Sitaram Sirvi, Dr. Rushita Kotadia, Dr. Krishna Patel, Abhilasha Rai, Kailash Parihar, Suresh Kumar, and Shahrukh, among others.
