Abu Road, Rajasthan – Madhav University celebrated International Workers’ Day with a special event organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event aimed to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of laborers in nation-building.
During the event, University President, Prof. Dr. Rajeev Mathur, highlighted the significance of this day, emphasizing the need to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and dedication of laborers. Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat stressed the importance of protecting laborers’ rights and raising awareness about issues like labor exploitation.
NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujalda emphasized the theme of this year’s International Workers’ Day: “Ensuring Workers’ Health and Safety in the Face of Climate Change.” NSS Unit In-charge, Sangeeta Singh, provided information about government schemes and benefits available to laborers.
The event saw participation from various students and staff members, including Gudiya, Yashpal, Shivani, Santosh, Neetu, Kanhaiya Lal Prajapat, Amandeep, Dinesh Kumar Meena, Motidan, Lalit Kumar Mali, Praveen Rana, and Kalu Ram.
