Abu Road, Oct 17, 2024 – In a significant development for students in the tribal-dominated Sirohi district, the Honorable High Court of Jodhpur has directed Madhav University to grant recognition to the GNM Nursing course for the 2024-25 session at Madhav College of Nursing.
Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Registrar of the University, shared that this decision will be especially beneficial for students in the tribal region. He emphasized that the establishment of the nursing college will not only provide students with the opportunity to receive high-quality medical education but also improve health services in the area.
University President Pro. Rajiv Mathur and Research Director Dr. Pawan Kumar praised this achievement as a result of the hard work of the management committee and staff. They expressed their commitment to further educational advancements in the future.
Madhav University is already providing free health services to five adopted villages in the region: Rohida, Achpura, Bharja, Kasindra, and Amathala. The university campus also houses an OPD and free medicine distribution services. Madhav University is the first and only institution in Sirohi district offering nursing, paramedical, homeopathic medical education, and other courses in fields like pharmacy, physiotherapy, law, agricultural science, and ITI. With this recognition, students from the region will now have access to high-quality nursing education close to home, which is expected to significantly improve the level of health services in the area.
