Madhav University Rovers Excel at Scout Camp

Madhav University’s 38 Rover and Ranger students participated in a 5-day Scout and Guide camp organized by the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides headquarters, Sirohi. The camp focused on social service and leadership development.

University Vice President Dr. Rajiv Mathur and Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat encouraged the participants. Assistant Professor Taufiq Khan Pathan led the group, with support from special education expert Nirbhan Singh and Assistant Professor Mamta Kumari.

The Rover and Rangers received training in leadership development, disaster management, first aid, self-defense, environmental protection, and social service. The camp aimed to promote teamwork and self-reliance among the youth.

Participants actively engaged in training sessions, learning strategies for dealing with natural disasters, developing quick decision-making skills, and fostering a spirit of community service.

University Chairman Dr. Rana praised the students’ active participation and encouraged them to continue participating in such camps. University officials deemed the camp an important step towards the students’ holistic development, successfully raising awareness of social service and inspiring self-reliance.
