Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 8, 2024 – Madhav University is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Physiotherapy Department. Since its inception, the department has provided free treatment to approximately 150,000 patients at the university clinic and an additional 50,000 patients through free medical camps held across the district. These camps have been organized in various locations, including Kasindra, Bharja, Kiverli, Achpura, Bhujela, Swaroopganj, Abu Road, and Mount Abu.
Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, University Registrar, highlighted the department’s commitment to serving the community through these initiatives. Dr. R. Arunachalam, Head of the Physiotherapy Department and Neuro-Rehabilitation Specialist, leads a team of specialists in various fields, including sports rehabilitation (Dr. Vaibhav Dave), community rehabilitation (Dr. Hemant Kumar), orthopedic rehabilitation (Dr. Aparajita), cardio-respiratory rehabilitation (Dr. Prachi Ojha), and pediatric rehabilitation (Dr. Aditi Bharadwaj). The department provides free consultations, treatments, and medications to patients suffering from joint pain, paralysis, neck pain, back pain, and other ailments. The department’s services have been a boon to patients, offering accessible and quality healthcare.
