Sirohi, Rajasthan – A seminar on Panchayati Raj Day was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Madhav University on April 26, 2024. The seminar was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Rana Pratap Singh, Dr. Devendra Mujalda, and Dr. Amarjit Singh.
The seminar focused on the importance of Panchayati Raj in Indian democracy and the role of women in Panchayati Raj institutions. Dr. Rana Pratap Singh spoke about the Panchayati Raj Act, while Dr. Devendra Mujalda emphasized the importance of women’s participation in Panchayati Raj. Dr. Amarjit Singh provided an overview of the status of Panchayati Raj in Indian democracy. Dr. Renuka discussed the history of Panchayati Raj in India, and Dr. Amrit Lal Singer spoke about the concept of Panchayati Raj. The seminar was also attended by several NSS volunteers, who shared their views on the topic. The event concluded with a discussion session.
