Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 28, 2024 – Madhav University’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a grand event to celebrate World Pharmacist Day. The program highlighted the crucial role pharmacists play in ensuring the quality and efficacy of medicines.
The event featured Saurabh Singla, a Government Pharmacist from HC Bharja Tehsil, Pindwara, as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included Professor Chairperson Dr. Vijendra Kumar Gautam, Dr. Mahendra Parmar (Dean Academics), Dr. Sushil Bhargava (Dean of Pharmacy), and IOP Principal Dr. Abhinay Kumar Dwivedi.
Singla emphasized the growing global demand for Indian pharmaceuticals and the need for pharmacists to be prepared. Dr. Gautam discussed the pharmacist’s contribution to ensuring drug quality and utility. Dr. Bhargava stressed the importance of pharmacists being equipped with the latest technologies.
Students took a pharmacy oath, led by Priya Chauhan, and showcased their knowledge through poster presentations and cultural programs. Vikas Dewasi and Harish secured first place in the poster competition, followed by Harsh Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Nandraj Singh, Jaspal Singh, and Leelam Singh in second place, and Kusum, Rahul, Akash, and Sumit Kumar in third. Winners received certificates of appreciation.
Dr. Dwivedi delivered the vote of thanks. The event saw the presence of faculty members, including Dr. Manish Goyal, Vishal Trivedi, Bhavik Sharma, Mohammad Farid, Dr. Anjali, Dr. Akshat, Sushma Shyam Bihari, Irfasuddin Mansoori, Amisha Agrawal, Shaheen Memon, Jitendra Prajapat, Mansi Shastri, Ajay Singh, and Vikram Damor.
