The high court in Jodhpur directed the recognition of 60 seats in BSC nursing to Madhav University.

Madhav University has been directed by the Hon’ble High Court to grant recognition for 2024-25 for 60 seats in B.Sc. Nursing course in Madhav College of Nursing. University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat said that opening of a nursing college in a tribal dominated area will greatly benefit the students. University President Prof. Rajiv Mathur and Research Director Dr. Pawan Kumar described this success as the result of the hard work and dedication of the university’s management committee and employees and expressed their resolve to continue moving forward towards success and development in the future. At present, this university is trying to touch new heights in the academic and medical field while providing its services in the rural area. Madhav University has already provided OPD service and free medicine distribution service in the five adopted villages Rohida, Achpura, Bharja, Kasindra, Amthala and the university campus. It is noteworthy that Madhav University is the first and only institute in Sirohi district in the tribal dominated area in Jodhpur Division, where nursing, paramedical and homeopathic medical education will be available. At present also, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available in various fields like Naturopathy and Yoga Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Engineering, Law, Agricultural Science, Science, Commerce and Management, Arts, Library Science, Education, Physical Education, Fire and Safety, ITI etc. With this achievement of Madhav University, students of the region will get an opportunity to get high quality nursing education, which will also provide better services in the health sector.
