Anti-ragging committee meeting conducted successfully at Madhav University

An important meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee was held at Madhav University on Tuesday. The meeting was hosted by our convener, Dr. K. S. Dahiya of the university. The Anti-Ragging Committee was constituted in compliance with UGC Guidelines 2023, and new banners will be placed at major places of the university and faculties, on which the names of the members of the Anti-Ragging Committee, e-mail ID, and anti-ragging toll fee helpline number will be mentioned. The objective is to completely suppress the trend of ragging. Under the leadership of the convener of the committee, Dr. D. K. Upadhyay, the Anti-Ragging Flying Squad will monitor the entire campus and stop ragging. Along with this, a documentary will be provided by UGC to make students and people aware of anti-ragging, and it will be shown to all students and staff members in August 2024.

During the meeting, it was also decided that the use of a university ID would be mandatory for every student. On this occasion, University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar, Dr. Vidya Shaktawat, Dr. Khushbu Sharma, Professor (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Behera, Niranjan Singh, Jitendra Singh, Deep Singh Rathore, Ramcharan Singh, Mamta, and other members were also present. Thus, the Madhav University Anti-Ragging Committee has taken concrete steps to end ragging and alerted the concerned parties to this direction.
