Morthala Village, Sirohi – Madhav University’s Madhav Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital organized a free medical and health check-up camp in Morthala village on Wednesday. The camp aimed to provide health services to rural residents and raise awareness about the benefits of homeopathy.
Seventy-two patients were examined at the camp and received free medication. Homeopathy department doctors, including Dr. Pratiksha Singh, and interns Mohsin and Kasim assisted in patient care. They treated common ailments such as kidney stones, viral fever, joint pain, vomiting, stomach problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, skin diseases, and menstrual irregularities.
Beyond treatment, the medical team educated villagers about the unique benefits of homeopathic care. The villagers welcomed the initiative, recognizing its value in improving access to healthcare. At the conclusion of the camp, Dr. Manoj Kumar Behera, Dean and Principal of Madhav Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, praised the medical team for their efforts, highlighting the event as an exemplary contribution to community service. The camp served as a valuable opportunity to bring healthcare services directly to the rural population and promote the use of homeopathic medicine.
