Abu Road (Sirohi), August 6, 2024 – Madhav University and JK Lakshmi Cement Limited, Banas, have joined forces to conduct a stress management workshop for senior officials at the cement plant. This initiative is part of a larger university-industry partnership aimed at benefiting both students and industry professionals.
The workshop, held on August 6th, was led by Dr. Atul Mishra, Director of Training and Placement at Madhav University, along with Prof. (Dr.) Anil Yogi from the Yoga and Naturopathy Department, and Prof. (Dr.) Sujan Patel from the Education Department. Dr. Yogi, also a corporate trainer, addressed the primary causes of stress in today’s environment and provided practical stress management techniques, including yoga exercises.
Dr. Mishra highlighted the university’s commitment to student placement and its proactive approach to bridging the gap between academia and industry. He emphasized that this collaboration not only provides students with industry experience but also offers several advantages to the industry.
Mr. Praveen Pathak, HR Head at JK Lakshmi Cement, expressed satisfaction with the program, noting that nearly 60 senior officers participated and provided positive feedback. He indicated plans to extend such training to more employees in the future.
Prof. (Dr.) Sujan Patel informed the employees about the various courses offered at Madhav University, encouraging them to upgrade their educational qualifications. University Chairman, Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh Kumar Rana, announced special fee discounts for JK Lakshmi Cement employees and invited them to visit the university campus, further strengthening the partnership between the two entities.
