May 22, 2024 – Madhav University’s Engineering Department and National Service Scheme (NSS) jointly organized an event to mark the International Day for Biological Diversity. The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
Professor Dr. Rajiv Mathur, President of the University, emphasized the crucial role of a healthy ecosystem for human well-being and urged everyone to strive for a balanced relationship with nature. Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, University Registrar, highlighted the necessity of harmonious coexistence with nature to ensure a sustainable future.
Dr. V. Narasimhan, Head of the Engineering Department, stressed the importance of cultivating a love for nature and discouraging any actions that harm the environment. Dr. Devendra Mujalda, Director of NSS, emphasized the need to preserve the Earth for future generations. Sangeeta Singh, NSS Coordinator, encouraged everyone to plant trees to combat the growing environmental challenges.
The event saw participation from students and faculty members, including Santosh Kumari, Monica Agarwal, Sandeep Aditya Singh, Abhijeet Prajapat, Deepanshi Agarwal, Suresh Kumar, and many others.
