Abu Road, Oct 10, 2024 – Madhav University held its grand sixth convocation ceremony on Wednesday, where 1741 students were awarded degrees in various faculties. The ceremony took place in the university auditorium with Saraswati Vandana, where hundreds of students, teachers, and parents gathered to celebrate this special moment of education and dedication.
University Chancellor Himmat Singh Deval praised the students’ achievements and guided them for the future. Deval said that this is not just the end of education, but the beginning of a new chapter of responsibilities. He added that the university has not only given students academic knowledge, but has also equipped them with moral and social values.
University President Dr. Rajiv Mathur said that Madhav University has always established new dimensions in the field of education, and many students who have graduated from the university are in government positions today. In his address, Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat said that after receiving the degree, a new journey has begun for the students, and all the students should work harder and reach higher positions to shape their better future.
During the convocation ceremony, 1741 degrees were conferred, including 22 PhDs, 321 postgraduate degrees, 782 undergraduate degrees, and 616 diplomas. Dr. Mukesh Mahawar, the Examination Controller, shared these details. The university administration made special arrangements for online broadcast for students who could not attend the ceremony in person.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Rajkumar, said in his address that education is not just a means of obtaining a degree, but it is a powerful medium for the construction of society and the nation. He inspired the students to keep learning throughout their lives and to understand their responsibilities towards society. Dr. Rajkumar described the university’s educational journey as a matter of pride and wished everyone a bright future.
